Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle about 1/4 inch thick to create the perfect base for the rolls.
  2. Spread the Sauce: Evenly spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges to help seal the rolls later.
  3. Add the Toppings: Scatter chopped bell peppers, mushrooms, spinach, and olives evenly over the sauce. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese and a pinch of Italian herbs on top.
  4. Roll and Slice: Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough into a tight log. Using a sharp knife, slice the log into 12 equal pieces to form the classic roll shapes.
  5. Bake to Perfection: Place the rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each. Lightly brush them with olive oil and bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melty.
