  • Dark Vegan Chocolate (high-quality, dairy-free) – 200 grams (approx. 7 oz)
  • Natural Peanut Butter (creamy, unsweetened) – 1/2 cup (120 ml)
  • Your Favorite Jam (strawberry or raspberry recommended) – 1/4 cup (60 ml)
  • Coconut Oil – 2 tablespoons (30 ml)
  • Maple Syrup or Agave (optional) – 1 tablespoon (15 ml)
  • Pinch of Sea Salt – about 1/8 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Line a muffin tin or silicone molds with paper or reusable baking cups for easy removal of the finished chocolate cups without breaking.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: Combine dark vegan chocolate and coconut oil in a heat-safe bowl and melt gently over a double boiler or in short bursts in the microwave, stirring frequently until silky smooth.
  3. Create the Chocolate Base: Pour a small spoonful of the melted chocolate into each mold, spreading it evenly to form a base layer. Place the tin in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes to let the chocolate start setting.
  4. Add the Peanut Butter and Jam: Mix peanut butter and maple syrup (if using) until creamy. Spoon a dollop of the peanut butter mixture on top of the partially set chocolate base, then add a small amount of your favorite jam in the center of each cup.
  5. Top with More Chocolate: Cover the peanut butter and jam layers with the remaining melted chocolate, making sure to seal the edges to fully enclose the filling. Smooth the tops with a spoon.
  6. Chill Until Firm: Refrigerate the cups for at least 30 minutes or until fully set. Once firm, carefully remove them from the molds and enjoy immediately or keep refrigerated until serving.
